You can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time. I think that's what we found out after our "FIRST" Artist/DJ of the year voting. In the end, we had to break it down into 3 categories. Artist, DJ, and Band. Luckily the top vote getters fell right into place. We want to apologize to all the fans of Ben Bledsoe, Running from Voodoo, and DJ Magic Mike. During the course of the polling there were a few unforeseen hiccups where votes were taken away and then given back. It was a mess. Your votes do matter to us and it was unfortunate how things transpired that caused many of the fans and bands to become angry!!!! Once again we apologize. We'd also like to give a shout out to DJ Sweetz of Cowboys Orlando and DJ Nito. We wish we could award something to everyone. ReviewOrlando.com

Magic Mike has been putting it down for over 20 years now. Im glad to see him get the recognition he deserves, its been awhile. There are people from all over the world that travel to see him, he is the reason why THOUSANDS of people wanted to scratch and put systems in their cars. Hes a great friend of mine and just wanted to give him props. Congrats!
Some of the artists werent even from orlando, like Ben Bledsoe, so i dont know why he was in the contest in the beginning, but Running from Voodoo got my vote there.

I've seen Ben perform several times and each time is awesome. Glad to see Orlando picked the right Artist of the Year. Congratulations to Ben.
